摘要 PURPOSE: To carry out pricise positioning of surgical tools when a surgical treatment is given to a patient by instant and consecutive feed back of information about the tool in the three-dimensional directions to a surgeon through mounting a link system with a precise measuring instrument driven by a computer on the surgical tool. CONSTITUTION: A standard block 9 and an electric goniometer 7 are connected to an oscillating balancing arm 11 so as to move the electric goniometer 7 and the standard block 9 to various positions along the body of a patient 3. The other end of the balancing arm 11 is connected to an upright pole 13 of a movable upright stand 15. The upright pole 13 also supports a monitor and, if possible, a monitor supporting arm 17 movable carrying a color monitor 19. Therefore, the usage of the link system allows a physical relationship between a point of a patient's foot, e.g. and the standard block 9 to be formed invariably. Consequently, any motion transmitted to the patient's foot is transmitted to the standard block as it is.
