PURPOSE: To obtain a seal cap that functions as a barrier between oxygen absorber means and liquid food or beverage by provision of packing means that includes two partitions defining sealing bag means containing the oxygen absorber means therein. CONSTITUTION: A cap 7 is attached to the neck 2 of a bottle 1 and seals the bottle 1 containing liquid beverage 20. By placing the cap 7 with walls 8, 3 and 9 defining inner cavity, perfect purge of this headspace can be avoided. This cavity is provided with oxygen absorber means 4, which is separated from gaseous atmosphere 21 with a polymer film 5. This film usually functions as the seal between the neck 2 of the bottle 1 and the cap 7. A packing 10 applied so as to be disposed to the inner cavity of the cap 7 or inside the lid of container is in a bag-shape having a first wall 11 and a second wall, and is provided with the oxygen absorber means 14 of iron powder 15 or its similar article. The first wall 11 has high permeabilities for oxygen gas and water vapor and does not permeate liquid substance. |
