In order to improve an air grating, having a frame comprising a surrounding frame and bearing plates and catch lugs which are held on it and arranged mutually opposite, and having flaps which are arranged parallel to one another and held rotatably on the bearing plates in order to close an air-grating opening, in such a way that said air grating is no longer so susceptible to wear and is not inclined to rattle during use, it is proposed that the surrounding frame be formed in one piece and that the bearing plates and the catch lugs be integrally moulded on the surrounding frame.
