Fire extinguishing system

The fire extinguishing system is composed of a number of extinguishing water spray devices (1) which contain a spiral body (2) and the outlet (3) of which is provided with a Coanda nozzle (4). The spiral body (2), in conjunction with the Coanda nozzle (4), makes it possible to spray the extinguishing water intensively, without requiring a rebounding plate or further devices to achieve this, in order to introduce the extinguishing water in a finely divided form to the area to be protected. In particular, dispensing with a rebounding plate makes it possible for extinguishing water also to reach a seat of fire arising directly beneath the extinguishing water spray device (1). <IMAGE>
