发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF AMALGAMATED ZINC ALLOY POWDER
摘要 PURPOSE:To retard hydrogen gas evolution, to enhance corrosion resistance, and to increase discharge performance by stirring zinc or zinc alloy powder in a dilute hydrochloric acid solution, and pouring a dilute hydrochloric acid solution in which mercuric chloride and indium hydroxide are dissolved therein. CONSTITUTION:Zinc or zinc alloy powder is stirred in a dilute hydrochloric acid solution. A solution prepared by dissolving mercuric chloride and indium hydroxide in an about 10% dilute hydrochloric acid solution is dropped into the dilute hydrochloric acid solution stirred together with zinc or zinc alloy powder. After completion of dropping, stirring is continued for about one hour to deposite mercury and indium on the surface of zinc or zinc alloy powder by replacement, then this zinc or zinc alloy powder is washed, filtered. and dried to obtain amalgamated zinc alloy powder. The amalgamated zinc alloy powder in which hydrogen gas evolution is retarded, corrosion resistance is enhanced, and discharge performance is increased regardless of low mercury content is obtained.
