摘要 PURPOSE:To take highly sensitive measurement, by providing a temperature control means to change and control the temperature in an SF6 cracked gas detecting element housing vessel and a condensation detection means to detect that the SF6 cracked gas is condensated close to the SF6 cracked gas detecting means., CONSTITUTION:The surface of an SF6 cracked gas detecting element 3A housed in an SF6 cracked gas detecting element housing vessel 13 is cooled by conducting the current to an electronic cooling element 20. The SF6 gas 2 containing the SF6 cracked gas is therefore condensated close to above the detecting element 3A. The condensation of the gas can be detected by the change of quantity of light of an opticalfiber 11. As soon as it is detected that the condensation has occurred, the conduction of current to the electronic cooling element 20 is stopped. Then, the SF6 gas 2 is vaporized relatively quickly by ambient heat. As time passes, the densified SF6 cracked gas is vaporized, too, so that the density of SF6 cracked gas in the vessel 13 is increased.
