<p>A safety modification of the gate control system of the Automatic Gate of the LRT UTS Underground Ticketing System comprises reprogramming the computer so that the commands it sends to the logic control processor as a result of information received from the beam logic system will not cause the paddles to close after a certain lapse of time but will allow them to remain open until the person passing down the aisle has broken and passed through the infra red beam (2) situated beyond the sweep of the paddles. <IMAGE></p> |
