The universal needle-holder is for medical use, and comprises a support (2) in which one or more bores are formed. These each accommodate a vessel or protective sleeve (19) for used needles, holding them upright. An elastic ring (8-11) can be fitted in one or more of the bores, while the vessel can consist of a test-tube inserted freely in a bore. The support can consist of a channel-section.
