A device for descaling a wire comprises a chamber (1) intended to be filled with a ferromagnetic abrasive powder (3), electromagnets for influencing the ferromagnetic powder (3) with the magnetic field and a means to remove the worked-out powder. The chamber (1) consists of sections (A, B, C, D, E, F) whereas the means for removing the worked-out powder (3) comprises outlets (9) located in the corresponding sections. Each outlet (9) is provided with a blocking device (10) to prevent the powder from self-pouring out. The electromagnets are mounted in each section (A, B, C, D. E, F) of the chamber (1) with their cores (6) movable in opposite directions. |
