<p>PURPOSE:To decrease misoperation by deciding an instruction for shift of a display area and shifting the display area to the instructed position in case a cursor touches a place near the display area and this cursor position is kept constant for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 2 reads the position of a cursor 5 displayed on a display screen 4 and decides whether the cursor 5 touches a side of a display area 7 or not. If so, the position of the cursor 5 is read again. Then an instruction is decided for a panning process of the area 7 in case the cursor 5 is kept at a place near the area 7 for a fixed time. Then the shift direction and the shift amount of the area 7 are decided based on the position of a mouse 3. Thus the area 7 is shifted. In such a way, the misoperations are decreased with a display area shift device.</p> |
