<p>The invention relates to the field of measuring characteristics of a disintegrated material by an ultrasonic method. A method for checking the parameters of the solid phase of a suspension consists in generating a Lamb-wave and η-radiation, passing them respectively, in an analysis medium (2) along the wall of a measuring reservoir (1), and measuring through said medium (2), the amplitude of the Lamb-wave and the intensity of the η-radiation, while using as the analysis medium, separately, a reference liquid and the suspension to be analyzed, and determining the parameters of the solid phase of the suspension depending on the relationship between the measured values. A device for checking the parameters of the solid phase of the suspension comprises a measuring reservoir (1), an emitting ultrasonic converter (4), a receiving ultrasonic converter (7), which are mounted on the wall of the measuring reservoir (1) by means of forming prisms (5, 6), a pulse generator (3), amplifiers (8, 18), a η-radiation source (16) and a η-radiation receiver (17) mounted on the walls of the measuring resevoir (1), a multivibrator (9), a monovibrator (10), a delay line (11), a rectangular pulse generator (12), a selecting unit (13), averaging filters (14, 19) and an amplitude detector (15), as well as a mathematic processing unit (20) comprising reference value presetting units (21, 22), two subtracting circuits (23, 24) and a dividing circuit (25).</p> |
