The invention relates to a sealing arrangement, particularly for sealing off a working chamber in the context of a viscous coupling. According to the invention, an area of a main portion of the sealing arrangement particularly subject to deformation at high internal pressures is reinforced by a separate or integral reinforcing element, thereby preventing the main portion of the sealing arrangement from being deformed into a space between parts which can move relative to one another. The invention can be used to seal off parts moving relative to one another in machine and vehicle construction.
