PURPOSE:To extremely improve the adhesiveness to a substrate and to obtain the optical disk which is free from exfoliation by forming the region activated by UV irradiation of a short wavelength on the surface of the resin substrate and forming an optical recording medium in a manner as not to deviate from this region. CONSTITUTION:The activated region 20 subjected to surface reforming by the UV irradiation of the short wavelength is formed on the recording medium forming surface of the resin substrate 10. The region 20 is formed wider than the film forming region of the magneto-optical recording medium 11 and is subjected to the surface recording to about 30-100A depth by the UV irradiation of the short wavelength with, for example, 184.5nm wavelength as a center. The surface of the substrate 10 is activated in the region wider than the film forming region of the medium 11 by this surface reforming. A protective dielectric film 12 below the medium 11 is formed to the inside region of the region 20. Further, a magnetic film 13 and the protective dielectric film 14 of the front layer are successively formed thereon, by which the medium 11 having the three-layered structure is formed. The cause for generating the exfoliation is, therefore, eliminated. |
