<p>PURPOSE:To securely read a program searching signal by making the traveling angle of a magnetic head different from the direction of a lead part of a rotary drum at the time of half-loading. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette is loaded, a base 5 is ascended from a chassis 13 to be held in a prescribed position, and a base 7 is descended to be held. And, an auxiliary post is moved along with the movement of the bases 5 and 7 to form a tape path under the half-loading condition. By this method, a magnetic tape is traced approximately in the whole area by the rotary head covering plural recording tracks, so that it is considered substantially equivalent to detecting an access signal in such a way that the whole of one recording track is traced by the rotary head. By this method, the program searching signal can be read out wherever it may be recorded in the recording track.</p> |
