The device according to the invention is intended to facilitate working of the arms in cross-country Nordic skiing. It makes it possible: - to position the stick more easily in the force position when starting working of the arms in cross-country Nordic skiing; - to ensure complete cohesion of the wrist with the stick; - to ensure the safety of the user in the event of violent rearward pulling of the stick during the displacement of the user. It consists of a handle 1 whose longitudinal axis forms an angle "d" with respect to the axis of the tube 9 of the stick, of a strap 6 for encircling the wrist, sewn onto a pulling strap 3, and of a handle 1 which can be ejected from the tube 9. <IMAGE>
