PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of a pipe joint and as well to facilitate the centering of the insertion part thereof by enlarging the diameter of the pipe end section, and by reducing the diameter of the forward end part of the pipe end section to a value slightly greater than that of the outer diameter of the insertion opening part. CONSTITUTION:The receiving opening part 11 of an end section of a pipe 10 is diametrically enlarged, and one end part 11e of the receiving opening part 11 is diametrically reduced to a value slightly greater than the outer diameter of an insertion opening section 31. With this arrangement, welding and casing means may be eliminated. Thereby it is possible to facilitate the manufacture of a pipe joint and the centering of the insertion opening part 31. |
