PURPOSE: To reduce the number of interruptions and the duration of an electric motor by performing the stopping control and the starting interlock of the electric motor according to the temperature of a rotor which is extracted on the basis of the stator current at the starting period of time, the number of revolutions of the rotor and elapsed time. CONSTITUTION: A processor unit 34 measures the temperature of a rotor on the basis of a number-of-revolutions signal from a number-of-revolutions sensor 31, the current signal of a stator from a stator current measuring device 33 and an elapsed time signal from a counter 36. A means 46 for performing a starting interruption and a means 47 for performing a starting interlock are controlled according to a comparison result between a rotor temperature and a reference temperature which is determined from a stator current/time- operation state matrix 39, a stator current/number of revolutions.operation state matrix 40 and a temperature rise state matrix 41. |
