Packaging for products and blank and method for its manufacture

A cardboard packaging is provided on its inside with a shrink film (21) designed as a skin film which can be shrunk bidirectionally and whose adhesive layer points away from the packaging space and is sealed in the region of the bottom flaps (14, 15) onto the latter. When the bottom flaps are folded together, triangular sections (25) of the shrink film (21) pull away from the adjoining bottom flaps (15) and are clamped between the flaps, thus resulting in a positive-locking fastening. The shrink film is then placed over the products (32) loaded in the carton and are simultaneously bonded to one another and shrunk under the effect of heat so that the products form a block with one another and with the carton. <IMAGE>
