PURPOSE:To enhance the high speed operation of a system by providing a first and a second open-and-close valve for regulating a pressure at the time when an ink is filled, discharged and printed at the front and back of a pressure regulator mounted in a first air feed system for assisting the ink jetting. CONSTITUTION:When an ink is discharged, a rubber pad 22 is removed from a head 2 and an air pump 1 is switched on to open a first open-and-close valve 18. Then, a second open-and-close valve 19 is opened to discharge the ink from the nozzle to an ink gutter 23. When printing, both valves 18, 19 are opened and the air flow is regulated for a reduced pressure by a pressure regulator 8. As a result, the air flow from a first air feed system 6 to the head 2 and the air flow from a second air feed system 7 to an ink cartridge 3 are regulated to be such flows as having a uniform pressure, respectively so that a stable printing operation is effected. When the ink is filled, the head 2 is moved to a position of a rubber pad 22 and the pump 1 is switched ON to open the vavle 19. |
