PURPOSE:To enable maintaining stable performance by optically detecting the existence of a resin within the cavity of a die via detecting openings from the outside of the die by means of a light source and an optical sensor. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a resin 3 does not exist in either opening 13 prior to the injection of the resin 3, the light emitted out of a light emitting diode 15 reaches a photoelectric sensor 17, as it is, via the detecting opening 13, and the non-existence of the resin 3 is detected from the voltage output. Injecting the resin 3 from an injection nozzle 10, the resin 3 comes up to the openings 13a, 13b, and since the photoelectric sensors 17 providing on the detecting openings 13a, 13b are inputted with lights passing through the resin filled up within a cavity 2, the output is considerably lowered or becomes zero in comparison with the case where the resin does not exist, thus the filling up of the resin 3 can be detected from the outside of the die. Furthermore, in the last place of increase of the injection quantity of the resin 3, if the output of the photoelectric sensor 17 of a detecting opening 13k provided on a resin reservoir 4 changes, filling up of a specific quantity resin within a die 1 is confirmed, so that a hydraulic cylinder 9 is stopped and the process of filling up is completed. |
