PURPOSE:To form and analyze a coking layer in a short time without damaging the inner wall of an autoclave and to improve workability by inserting a test section detecting element in the main autoclave body in freely attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:A prepared coal slurry is charged into the autoclave, and heated to a specified temp. by an external electric furnace 21. The surface of the test section detecting element 25 is also heated by a test section heater 27 to a temp. higher than that of the internal fluid. In this case, the temps. of the respective heaters are controlled, the current and voltage values are always monitored, and the number of revolutions of an agitator 23 is also controlled. When coking is caused and a coke layer is formed, the coking is detected from the changes in the surface temp. and heater current value. The element 25 is then taken out from the main body, and the coked material is sampled. |
