<p>PURPOSE:To produce a laminated sole excellent in cushioning property by making a depression on the upper surface of the outer sole and filling the depression with a molding material for an upper sole during foam-molding of the upper sole, thereafter partially foam-molding a thick pad thereon. CONSTITUTION:A depression 11 is partially formed, on the upper surface of an outer sole 1 made from natural rubber and the like. The rubber outer sole with the depression 11 whose bottom wall 110 is made of a thin film is set onto the base of the cavity 0 of a mold 3, a last 5 is fitted to the upper portion of the mold 3, and thus a cavity 0' for molding an upper bottom is formed on the upper surface of the outer sole 1. In association with a foamable thermoplastic rubber being introduced into the cavity 0' the depression 11 is filled with the material for the upper sole, which then generates foams to layer the upper sole 2 rich in cushioning property over the upper base of the outer sole 1.</p> |
