PURPOSE:To prevent a developer on a sleeve from forming a film and uneven deterioration from being caused owing to a defect in the circulation of a developer by boring a triangular hole penetrating a developer scraping member provided on the surface of a developer conveying means in the plate thickness direction. CONSTITUTION:The developer in a hopper 16 is conveyed as shown by an arrow A with the magnetic force of the magnetic roll 13 in the sleeve 12 and the torque of the sleeve 12 and carried to the development position of a photosensitive body 17 to develop an electrostatic latent image 18. The remaining developer 11 reaches a scraper 14 as shown by an arrow A and is scraped off. The opening shape of the scraper 14 is made triangular to suppress small a decrease in rigidity with an increasing opening rate due to the dispersion of press-contacting force and an increase in effective sectional area. Further, the length of the tip part of the scraper 14 is controlled to 1-3mm, so the developer 11 is made to flow well. Thus, the flowability of the developer and scraping performance are improved. |
