<p>PURPOSE:To make the external fringe part of a carpet superior in outward appearance, by a method wherein a trim cutting blade is provided along the external circumference of a welder bar performing weld processing along the external fringe of the carpet for a trim of an automobile, trim cutting is performed after melding and welding allowance of the external fringe is set up specifically. CONSTITUTION:A lower electrode 18 is provided on a bottom force base 17 so that the same runs almost after a form of a trim of a carpet 13, an upper electrode 21 is fitted to the undersurface of a top force base 19 through silicone rubber 20 and trim cutting blade 22 is fixed directly to the top force base 19 by running along the external circumference of the electrode 21. After setting up of the carpet 13 on the lower electrode 18, the top force base 19 is lower to cause a high-frequency current to flow to the lower electrode 18 and welder welding allowance 16 corresponding to a width of a tip part 21a of the upper electrode 21 is formed. Then the trim cutting blade 22 is lowered through shrinkage of the silicone rubber 20 and an excessive carpet 13a is cut off. A width of the welding allowance is set up at 1.0-2.0mm. When the same does not exceed 1.0mm, the welding allowance is apt to fall off and when the same is at least 2.0mm, it is not preferable from an external appearance point of view.</p> |
