PURPOSE:To improve bonding strength and safety factor and prevent metallic protrusions from being broke off, and then, increase in the stability and durability of operations, by making bonding interfaces between the metallic protrusions and an internal electrode have irregularities. CONSTITUTION:A laminated body is constructed by bonding piezoelectric plates 2 on an internal electrode 200. Metallic protrusions 3 are formed at the exposed part surfaces of the internal electrode 200 at the side face of the laminated body by chemi cal plating and the like as terminals which introduce an operating voltage from the outside of the electrode to the internal electrode 200. The surface of the internal electrode acts as a bonding surface. In such a case, the metallic protrusions 3 are formed at both sides of the laminated body so that they may hold respective positions at the same side face every other protrusion. Each protrusion 3 is connected to each one of a pair of side face lead wires 4. Respective two level potentials which prescribe the operating voltage are impressed to the internal electrode every other potential to generate displacement in each piezoelectric plate. And there are irregularities on the interface where the metallic protrusions 3 and the internal electrode 200 are joined. This aspect results in the increase of bonding areas and thus, with the increase of the bonding areas, junction strength increases accordingly. |
