<p>PURPOSE:To effect a simultaneous recovery of nitrogen and oxygen in a high purity, by undergoing a nitrogen adsorbing process in an adsorption tower from air introduced therein, an impurity purging process, a separating process for nitrogen recovery under reduced pressure and a pressure raising process for oxygen introduction into the adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen is introduced from an oxygen recovery tank 3 to an adsorption tower 4, after a pressure reducing process has been terminated, reversely to an air introducing direction and, after it has been raised to an adsorption pressure, air is introduced from a tank 1 to the adsorption tower 4 so as to adsorb nitrogen thereon and store nonadsorbed oxygen in the oxygen recovery tank 3. Nitrogen is thereafter sent to the adsorption tower 4, by a blower 8 from a nitrogen recovery tank 2, whereby impurities such as oxygen are purged and the purged gas is then sent back into the tank 1. The adsorption tower 4 is thereafter evacuated by a vacuum pump 9 and the separated nitrogen is introduced into the nitrogen recovery tank 2.</p> |
