<p>Said arrangement is provided with guiding means having guiding channels (5) in which the sinkers, which are located in such a way that they can be displaced at least lengthwise, are guided sideways over at least part of their length. Said sinkers are actuated by relatively mobile guiding surfaces (9) of a driving arrangement which run in a generally oblique direction through the guiding channels. Sinkers (10) according to said invention are designed in two parts, with a working part for knitting (13) and a guiding part (12) for the guiding surfaces (9), and said two sinker parts are connected with one another in such a way that they can be twisted only in a limited way one against the other around an axis (21) extending generally in the longitudinal direction of the guiding channels.</p> |
