In order to avoid inadvertent deviations of the milling tool out of a preadjusted position during milling, which deviation may occur because the slide bearing has reduced dimensions and because for example it is away from the milling tool and cannot withstand the forces exerted during milling without deformation, the slide (2) including the milling tool (4) carried thereby is surrounded by an annular bearing (1).
