3,4-DIHYDROISOQUINOLINE DERIVATIVES, ISOQUINOLINE DERIVATIVES, AND PROCESSES FOR THEIR PREPARATION

Novel 3,4-dihydroisoquinoline derivatives represented by general fomula (I-a) or (I-b), novel isoquinoline derivatives derived therefrom, and processes for preparing the isoquinoline derivatives are disclosed. In the formula, X<1> and X<2> may be the same or different and each represents a group represented by alpha provided that one of X<1> and X<2> may be a hydrogen atom, X<3> represents a group represented by beta (wherein R<1>, R<2> and R<3> may be the same or different and each represents a group selected from among alkyl, alkenyl and alkoxy groups containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms and optionally substituted and an aryl group containing 6 to 20 carbon atoms), and m represents 0 to 5.
