The transmission from the shaft (2a) of one of the rollers (2) trapping the paper band (3) to the blocking mechanism (24,25,26,27) is performed by means of two sets of sprockets (16,17;18,19) of different diameter and meshing selectively and alternately with one another. The shaft (20) of one set of sprockets (18,19) carries mounted thereon the cam (22) which loads the spring (23) for triggering the mechanism delivering a short run of paper band (3). The outlet opening (29) for the paper band (3a) has a cutter blade (30) at one of its borders to sever the band. It is possible to regulate the length of the delivered paper band by changing the position of the sprockets (16,17) as regards the sprockets (18,19). The automatic mechanism for delivering the short band run is thereby simplified. |
