<p>An automatic adjuster releasing apparatus characterized by the provision of a support member (17) fixedly mounted on the wheel cylinder body (2); a pin member (19) slidably supported by the support member (17) and having one end portion extending from an opening (1b) formed on the backing plate (1), the other end of the pin member facing an inner surface (10c) of the adjuster lever (10) so as to be engageable therewith, so that when the other end of the pin member (1a) is pressed against the inner surface (10c) of the adjuster lever (10), the pin member releases the engagement of the other end of the adjuster lever with the adjuster gear (4); a resilient member (21) urging the one end portion of the pin member to be projected from the opening on the backing plate; and a flexible cover (22) fitted in the opening (1b) and covering the one end portion of the pin member (19).</p> |
