PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition adapted for automobile bumpers, spoilers, etc., by imparting thereto low-temperature impact resistance, by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate with a polyalkylene terephthalate, a rubbery polymer- grafted copolymer and a polysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:An impact-resistant resin composition is formed by mixing 0-97 pts.wt., desirably, 40-70 pts.wt., aromatic polycarbonate (e.g., L-1250, a product of Teijin Kasei) and/or polyarylate (A) (e.g., Upolymer-U-100, a product of Yunitika), 0-97 pts.wt., desirably, 20-40 pts. wt., polyalkylene terephthalate (B), desirably, polybutylene (or ethylene) terephthalate, 3-50 pts.wt., desirably, 5-20 pts.wt. graft copolymer (C) obtained by grafting at least one member selected from among styrene, acrylonitrile and a (meth)acrylic monomer onto a conjugated diene rubber, an acrylic rubber or the like, and 0.05-5 pts. wt., desirably, 0.2-3 pts.wt. polysiloxane (D) (viscosity of 100-400000) in amounts to give the total of 100 pts.wt. |
