PURPOSE:To manufacture highly precise products at high production yield and elongate their tool service lives by making a stripe plate with a set width by process of chamfering both ends, cutting the stripe plate in a set length, forming by bending process while the plate thickness, width, and inner and outer diameter directions are constrained, and machining for notch and groove making. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a stripe plate 10 are chamfered by a cutting tool 12 to give a stripe plate 14 with a necessary width for a half bearing, marks 16 are stamped on the outer surface side, and the stripe plate is cut in blanks 18 with a length to meet the circumference length of a product. Next, while both ends of the circumference direction of the blank are constrained in the plate thickness direction, both ends of the circumference direction are bent to give a half-processed product 20. After the half-processed product 20 is bent with coining dies and molding punches into a half-product 26 with almost final product shape, and the half-product 26 is further machined with a highly precise coining die and a molding punch to obtain a half bearing product 32, and then an oil-hole 34 and a notch 36 are formed. Highly precise products are thus manufactured at high production yield and tool service life is elongated. |
