MOISTURE SEPARATOR REHEATER WITH ROUND TUBE BUNDLE

Moisture separator reheater for a steam turbine esp. in nuclear power plant has a central chamber with cylindrical wall portions and a round tube bundle having arcuate plates disposed on each side of the bundle to form a wrapper. A tongue and groove juncture between the wrapper and cylindrical wall portions provides a seal and a track for installing and removing the tube bundle from the central chamber. Steam enters the reheater via distribution pipes and is fed through moisture separators in apertures of plates downwardly depending from the cylindrical wall portions to form a duct through which the steam passes to the heating tube bundle.
