摘要

PURPOSE:To improve uneven coating by simultaneously coating a support with a silver halide photographic sensitive emulsion for direct positive printing and one or more nonphotosensitive undercoat layers having a specified total thickness immediately after coating. CONSTITUTION:When PE coated paper as a photographic support is coated with a silver halide photographic emulsion for direct positive printing to produce the title material, the support is simultaneously coated with the emulsion and one or more nonphotosensitive undercoat layers having >=10mum total thickness immediately after coating in the form of a coating liq. A change in the amt. of the resulting emulsion layer due to the ruggedness of the support is reduced and uneven coating is improved.
