PURPOSE:To repair simply the existing tube with a branching tube by a method in which the short tube fitted with a pad is arranged in an existing tube, and its through-hole is caused to coincide with the branching port of the existing tube, and then a plurality of short tubes are connected to the short tube, and further by expanding the pad, the gap between the branching port of the existing tube and the connected tube is sealed closely. CONSTITUTION:An opening port 53 is provided on the tube wall of the short tube 5 in a plurality of short tubes 5 constituting a connected body 2, and the short tube is held on the part of the branching port 11 of the existing tube 1 to which a branching tube 3 is connected. The hollow pad 6 with a through-hole 61 is fitted to the short tube 5, while the through-hole 61 is registered onto the opening port 52. Filler C is injected into the pad 6 through a tube 63, thereby sticking closely the periphery of the branching port 11 of the existing tube 1 to the outer surface of the short tube-body 5. A tube 8 is inserted into the connected body 2, and the tube 8 is brought in rigid state by its expansion. Necessary amount of filler D is injected into a gap S, whereby the connected body 2 is floated in the existing tube 1 and is concentrically arranged. After curing of the filler, filler D is injected into the remaining gap S, and the connected body 2 is held concentrically in the existing tube by curing the filler D. |
