The apparatus comprises a cassette module (15) within an auxiliary frame supporting a main frame of the copier. A first (6) and a second paper feeding cassette (7) can be inserted into both sides of the cassetee module. Paper sheets in the first paper feeding cassette are fed one by one into a photo-sensing drum (4) through an entrance chute (12), the paper in the second paper feeding cassette being fed into the drum by a fed roller (11).
