A water-filtering device which is intended to be connected to a water conduit has a filter unit (1) with an inlet (3), a filter (9) and an outlet (4), and a valve unit (2) with a valve housing (17) and a cylindrical valve body (18) disposed in a cylindrical recess in the valve housing and rotatable about its own axis. The valve housing (17) has an inlet (5) which is intended to be connected to the water conduit, a first outlet (3) communicating with the inlet (3) of the filter unit (1), and a second outlet (6) spaced from the filter unit. The inlet (5) and the second outlet (6) of the valve housing (17) respectively opens into and extends from the circumferential surface of the cylindrical recess, and the first outlet (3) of the valve housing extends through an end wall defining the recess. A through channel (24) extends through the valve body (18) in such a manner that, for a given position of rotation thereof, it establishes a connection, which is sealed with respect to the first outlet (3) of the valve housing, between the inlet (5) and the second outlet (6) of the valve housing. The valve body (18) further has such a bevel (29) at one end thereof that when in another given position of rotation, it establishes a connection, which is sealed with respect to the second outlet (6) of the valve housing, between the inlet (5) and the first outlet (3) of the valve housing. |
