In the case of conventional cables, electricity is supplied at the start of a cable and the electricity distribution takes place mainly at its end. With its many production forms, the new cable provides the possibility for supplying and distributing electricity at any desired point. This new inner-outer contact cable, with the single-phase illustration in Fig. 3, has inner-outer contacts (4) and a spacer zone (6) which is filled, with the exception of the contact region, with permanently elastic material (5). When suitable pressure is applied, with the aid of a clamping-on device or an electricity extraction clip, a conductive electrical connection is produced firstly to the neutral conductor (8) and then to the phase conductor (live conductor) (7), and electricity can be extracted. This cable can be produced in various forms and in consequence has numerous application possibilities for installations domestically, in agriculture, in business and industry, both for stationary and mobile operation. <IMAGE>
