<p>A magnetic-tape apparatus (1) comprises drive means for driving a magnetic tape (7) and reels (5, 6), magnetic-head means (9, 10), buffer means comprising a belt (8), guide elements (21, 22, 23, 24) for guiding the belt (8) in the operational position, tape-threading means (12, 13) which during the thread-out phase thread the tape (7) out of the cassette (29) and wrap it around the magnetic-head means (9) and during the thread-in phase thread the tape (7) into the cassette (29), and belt-threading means (14) which during said thread-out phase thread the belt between the guide elements (21, 22, 23, 24) into the tape path and during the thread-in phase bring the belt (8) back into its initial position. The apparatus (1) also comprises a mechanism for moving the threading means (12, 13, 14), which mechanism moves the belt-threading means (14) in such a way that the belt can be brought into the desired operational position and into said initial position.</p> |
