<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a card of type formed with a recess on a card body and to reduce a space occupied by an inspecting unit by inserting a module by an inserting machine into the recess formed on the body by a spot facing machine, and inspecting the electric operation of the module by the inspecting unit having a plurality of reader/writer units communicating with the modules of a plurality of card bodies and a computer connected to the reader/writer units. CONSTITUTION:A spot facing machine 4 for forming a recess 9a by spot facing on a card body 9, an inserting machine 6 for inserting the module 10 of an electric component to the recess formed by the machine 4, and an inspecting unit 7 for inspecting whether the module 10 inserted to the recess 9a is set to its home position by the machine 6 and whether the module is electrically correctly operated or not are provided. The unit 7 has a plurality of reader/ writer units 58 communicating with the modules 10 of the plurality of card bodies 9, and a computer 57 connected to the plurality of unit 58. Thus, only one computer is sufficient, and its space is saved, thereby efficiently manufacturing the card.</p> |
