The invention relates to a packaging station comprising a shaping device for converting a packaging material web drawn from a packaging material web supply, such as a leporello folded web, into a cushioning material, and a conveying structure for receiving the drawn-off packaging material web and for supplying the drawn-off packaging material web into the shaping device, wherein the conveying structure has a conveyor track which extends from an intake of the conveying structure up to the shaping device and is dimensioned in such a way that after passing the intake, the packaging material web can lie on the conveyor track over the entire surface across at least double the track width in the conveying direction. |
