PURPOSE:To improve a solar cell module in a conversion efficiency by a method wherein the sunlight is separated through a prism, and amorphous solar cells formed of material which are possessed of the most adequate optical forbidden band widths for separated solar spectra are arranged on the plane of a light receiving face. CONSTITUTION:A solar cell module is possessed of a such a structure that a prism-shaped plastic is used as a window member and a filler 5 in which solar cells 1-3 are buried and a rear member 6 are laminated together, and the solar cells 1-3 buried inside the filler 5 at the rear of the plastic prism 4 are made to correspond to a region where a short wavelength light is concentrated, a region where a long wavelength light is concentrated, and a region where both a short and a long wavelength light are concentrated respectively. Here, a single layer amorphous solar cell provided with an I layer formed of a-SiC:H which is high in sensitivity to a short wavelength light is used as the solar cell 1. An amorphous solar cell formed of a-SiGe:H is employed as the solar cell 2. And, a single layer amorphous solar cell formed of a-Si:H is utilized as the solar cell 3. |
