The innovative aspect of a high pressure cleaner arranged in a motor/pump unit, with a pump (7) for the conveyance of cleaning fluid, a boost fan (6) for combustion air for a (non illustrated) burner which heats the cleaning fluid along with a motor (1), which drives both the pump (7) and boost fan (6) on a joint axle (5), comes in the fact that the air stream conveyed by the boost fan (6) is used for cooling both the fluid pump (7) and the motor (1).In this way, one avoids the sealing problems which are linked with earlier accepted methods of using cleaning fluid transported by the fluid pump (7) for the cooling of the motor and pump.<IMAGE>
