PURPOSE:To easily and uniformly eliminate dust accumulated on an objective lens by pressing a cleaning sheet on the objective lens via a rod possible to be rocked with a block through a hole formed at the position of the objective lens of an optical pickup. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge 1 of the optical pickup cleaner is inserted to an optical disk unit so that the block 6 can be positioned on the upper side of the turntable 22 of a motor 21 provided in the optical disk unit and also, a ball 8 can be positioned on the upper side of the objective lens 24 of the optical pickup 23. Thereby, the turntable 22 raises the block 1, and the rod 11 is rocked centering a bracket 7, and the ball 8 presses the cleaning sheet 2 on the upper plane of the objective lens 24. By rotating a roller 4 by a driving mechanism 5 at appropriate speed and moving the cleaning sheet 2, the dust on the objective lens 24 can be eliminated. |
