PURPOSE:To quickly execute traffic control by comparing the information from respective sensing means with those of the pre-action period and based on the ratio of the number of changed sections and a rank, designating the action starting time and the operation time of a receiving means within the action period, at the time of shifting from one action period to a next action period. CONSTITUTION:A computer 12 prepares the information such as the volume of traffic, speed and share rate based on the information of a sensor 11 and calculates the spot information and the section information. Next, a jammed, crowded and smooth flow is decided and made into a numeric value by the information. Successively, the rank of the traffic condition of respective sections of a T-1 period is compared with that of respective sections of a T period and a number alpha of sections with changed states and a ratio beta of the jamming occupied to the number of respective sections are obtained. By considering alpha, beta and the information quantity to be processed from the present time, the priority is controlled and the first rank is determined. By the constitution, a response time to a control table 15 is shortened and interference information from the control table 15 is quickly processed and displayed with the same period. |
