The invention relates to a device making it possible to visually display the eclipses of the Sun and of the Moon, the phases of the Moon, the succession of days and nights on Earth. It consists of a plane support 2 bearing the inscriptions and the shadow of the Earth, of a disc 3 bearing a diagram of the Earth, of a disc 4 bearing a diagram of the Moon, of a disc 5 bearing the diagrams of the Moons appearing in the eclipses, of a disc 6 bearing the phases of the Moon, of a movable link 7 bearing the shadow of the Moon and allowing the assembly to be put in motion and of a mask 8 bearing windows. The assembly makes it possible to visually display the phenomenon in space as a function of the relative positions of the stars and as they are seen from Earth. Produced in transparent material, the device may be used on a back-projector. <IMAGE>
