The device comprises a ring 1 which clamps onto the body 4 of the clarinet. A sleeve 6 is fixed onto the ring 1, whilst being directed in a plane which makes an angle with that of the clarinet. A cord 9, intended to be placed around the neck of the player, comprises an attachment member 8 which is fixed to the body of the sleeve 6. The device allows the user of the clarinet to adjust the playing angle whilst helping to hold the instrument. <IMAGE>
