PURPOSE:To obtain woven fabric having large thickness and air content, excellent heat insulating properties, warmth and good feeling, wherein at least part of raw material yarn constituting the woven fabric is a specific ribbon-like material prepared by opening a great number of filament bundled materials. CONSTITUTION:A ribbon-like material 1 at least partially comprising a constituent yarn system is divided into plural sections 3 by interwined parts 2. Each section 3 contains first group filament f1 wherein the ribbon-like material 1 is put in order in the longer direction and second group filament f2 wherein the ribbon-like material is opened and swollen in the direction perpendicular to the longer direction and each filament is made to have equal whole length in such a way that a filament belonging to the first group in one section belongs to the second group in another section. |
