PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, containing a specific ketene dimer based compound and specific polymer in a specified proportion and excellent in storage stability and sizing effects. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition containing (A) 100 pts.wt. ketene dimer based compound expressed by formula I (R1 and R2 are 8-30C hydrocarbon) and (B) 2.5-100 pts.wt., preferably 5-50 pts.wt. polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer containing >=5mol% monomer expressed by formula II (n is 2-4; R3 is H or methyl: R4-R8 are 1-3C alkyl; X<-> and Y<-> are anion).
